The Colorado Springs Event Center Hall "A" features  40,000+ square feet of dedicated exhibit space to accommodate your consumer or trade expo with our centralized location on the Front Range. With the Hall "B: expansion completed, we increase our site to 90,000+ square feet of exhibit space to accommodate your consumer or trade expo with our centralized location on the Front Range

 

The facility offers a wide range of show layouts for boothing, table tops, auto shows and custom setups. For trade shows, the venue easily accommodates over 200 10’ x 10’ booths. Once the expansion is complete we will be able to accommodate over 400+ 10' x10'  booths.  The Event Center has an in house technology department serving your events power, connectivity, computer services, event staging and presentation needs.

 

Load in, Set Up and Tear down are simplified with our show floor level loading dock and drive in bay which offers easy move in and move out for your staff and vendors, with secured exhibitor entrances, exhibitor parking and adequate space for overnight RV parking.

 

For decorating needs, Event Center staff offers the versatility of placing orders with our preferred decorator at discounted rates or you may use your own decorating services. Customized exhibit packages and add-ons for vendors to showcase boothing and captivate attendees are available as well.

Food & Beverage:

All Food & Beverage Service on CSEC property and in its facilities is managed by the Colorado Springs Event Center Food & Beverage Services Department within the policies set by the Colorado Springs Event Center.

Concessions: Concessions within the Colorado Springs Event Center are operated by Bird Dog BBQ. CSEC has contracts with several specialty concessionaires for select indoor and outdoor events. Absolutely, no outside food or beverage is permitted within the Colorado Springs Event Center during public events.

 

Catering: Bird Dog BBQ holds the first right of refusal on catering within the Colorado Springs Event Center property. Outside catering may be permitted on a case by case basis. All catering must be arranged through the Colorado Springs Event Center Food & Beverage Services Department.

 

Alcohol: In accordance with Colorado State liquor licensing, absolutely no outside alcohol or beverage containers are permitted at the Colorado Springs Event Center without prior approval from the Colorado Springs Event Center Food & Beverage Services Department and proper permitting for special events.

 

Vendor Food Sales: Unless previously authorized by Event Center management, absolutely no outside food or beverages are allowed into the Colorado Springs Event Center. The Colorado Springs Event Center reserves the right to authorize outside caterers and concessionaires for a pre-determined fee. All caterers and/or concessions distributing prepared food are required to provide event center management all required El Paso County Department of Health and Environment licenses and permits at least TEN (10) days prior to the first day of an event. Failure to provide such licensing may result in revocation of food or beverage distribution rights. The fees are as follows: Baked Goods (cupcakes, cake, breads, pies, etc.) $25 per vendor; Pre-packaged Ready to Eat Snacks (beef jerky, fudge, chocolates, candies) $50 per vendor; Prepared ON Site Ready to Eat Snacks & Drinks (ice cream, dippin dots, kettle corn, popcorn, nuts, energy drinks, coffee, beverage machines, etc.) $75 per vendor; and Alcoholic Beverages sold by the bottle, glass or samples will be required to have a city permit and will be required to pay the facility 25% of sales. There is no fee for samples or pre-packaged food items that are not prepared onsite.


Any arrangements for outside food and beverage vendors must be coordinated with and approved by Colorado Springs Event Center Food & Beverage Services Department. Marketing Assistance:

The Colorado Springs Event Center does not have an in-house agency to manage an event advertising campaign, but has some marketing resources to assist in event promotion.  Most of these are at no cost to the promoter and are provided on an availability basis.

Colorado Springs Event Center Website:
All Events are listed in our events calendar.  We can link to an external event site as provided.  Promoters should provide an image and description for their event listing.

E-Newsletter:
The Colorado Springs Event Center - All VIP Event Center Members receive a monthly e-newsletter detailing upcoming events.  This is also where we notify them of any upcoming promotions or contests and drive them back to the website.

Social Media:
The Colorado Springs Event Center is on Facebook (facebook.com/ColoradoSpringsEventCenter), and Twitter (twitter.com/COSEventCenter).  If a promoter wishes to offer a special promotion or contest to the Colorado Springs Event Center Friends, Fans or Followers, Colorado Springs Event Center is willing to collaborate when we feel it is an offer appropriate for this group.

News Releases:
We will electronically distribute one news release per event to our regional media list at no charge to an event promoter.

Institutional Advertising:
Colorado Springs Event Center does a weekly newspaper ad in the entertainment section of The Gazette and The Independent paper that lists upcoming events several weeks out and also highlights events that are on-sale at our box office on a space available basis.  This is provided at no charge.

 

Event Banners:

The Colorado Springs Event Center will display an event specific banner for your event within our facility advertising your upcoming event. The Colorado Springs Event Center will also provide one or two spaces for an outside banner to be displayed the Monday preceding your event outside of our facility. All banners must follow the following specifications - 10’ wide by 4’ height with top grommets. Outside banners must have wind slits. *There is a fee for the Colorado Springs Event Center to hang your banners outside.

Deposit

A Rental deposit will be due at contract signing. The amount of the deposit is based on how far out from the event the contract is signed. The deposit will be in increments of 25%, 50% or 100%. The remainder of the rental fee and security deposit will be due 30 days prior to event.

Rental Period
Colorado Springs Event Center rental periods for private events are 12 hour blocks from 12 noon until 12 midnight. Extra time is charged at $200 an hour.

Cleaning
Colorado Springs Event Center asks that all decorations are removed from the facility and that all trash generated by your event is placed in the proper receptacles.  Final cleaning is provided in your rental package.

 

Insurance
Proof of Insurance is required for all events taking place within Colorado Springs Event Center facilities. Colorado Springs Event Center, affiliated companies must be listed as additional insured – your event manager will provide you with more details.

Food & Beverage

The Colorado Springs Event Center does have an exclusive caterer; however arrangements may be arranged for a food buyout. All food and beverage arrangements must be approved by the Colorado Springs Event Center Food and Beverage Department

Decorations
Rentals and decorations from outside vendors are permitted. Decorations must be hung with painters tape – the use of nails or tacks on facility walls, pillars or other surfaces is prohibited.

Cancellations
All deposits are nonrefundable
